         Pursuant to a notice posted on February 24, 1997, the House 
         Committee on Appropriations-S/C on Health & Human Services met 
         jointly with the S/C on General Government in a work session and 
         was called to order by the Chair, Representative Bob Glaze at 
         7:00 pm.
         
         The roll was answered as follows:  
         
         Present:  Representatives Glaze; Coleman; Eiland; Haggerty; 
                   Mowery (5).
         
         Absent:   None (0).
         
         A quorum was present.
         
         The subcommittee discussed the allocation of TANF funds among 
         the health and human services and workforce agencies At 8:15 pm, 
         on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting 
         was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
