         Pursuant to a notice posted on April 25, 1997, the House  
         Committee on Appropriations-S/C on Dedicated Funds met in a  
         public hearing and was called to order by the Chair,  
         Representative Sylvester Turner at 8:40 am. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:   
          
         Present:  Representatives Turner, Sylvester; Haggerty; Raymond  
                   (3). 
          
         Absent:   Representatives Glaze; Greenberg (2). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         Testimony was taken.   
          
         (Representatives Glaze and Greenberg now present.)   
          
         Kathie Griswold, Comptroller's Office, testified on funds  
         consolidation. 
          
         At 9:05 am, on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
