         Pursuant to a notice posted on May 6, 1997, the House  
         Committee on Appropriations-S/C on Dedicated Funds met in a  
         work session and was called to order by the Chair,  
         Representative Sylvester Turner at 8:40 am. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:   
          
         Present:  Representatives Turner, Sylvester; Glaze; Haggerty  
                   (3). 
          
         Absent:   Representatives Greenberg; Raymond (2). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         (Representative Greenberg now present.)   
          
         The subcommittee discussed broad categories for exemption from  
         funds consolidation and funds sweep. 
          
         At 9:45 am, on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
