            Pursuant to a notice posted on March 13, 1997, the House 
            Committee on Business & Industry met in a work session and 
            was called to order by the Chair, Representative Kim Brimer 
            at 8:15 am.
            
            The roll was answered as follows:  
            
            Present:  Representatives Brimer; Rhodes; Elkins; Giddings; 
                      Janek; Woolley (6).
            
            Absent:   Representatives Corte; Dukes; Solomons (3).
            
            A quorum was present.
            
            At 8:17 am, on the motion of the chair and without 
            objection, the meeting was recessed until 8:19 am on March 
            17, 1997 and moved to hearing room E1.014.
            
            The committee reconvened in hearing room E1.014 at 8:19 am 
            and was called to order by the chair, Representative Kim 
            Brimer.  The roll was answered as follows:
            
            Present:  Representative Brimer; Rhodes; Elkins; Giddings; 
            Janek; Woolley (6).
            
            Absent:   Representative Corte; Dukes; Solomons (3).
            
            The committee met to discuss the proposed amendments for HB 
            92 by Brimer.

            (Representative Corte now present.)  
            
            No action was taken.
            
            At 9:55 am, on the motion of the chair and without 
            objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of
