Pursuant to a notice posted on May 9, 1997, the House
Committee on Business & Industry met in a public hearing and
was called to order by the Chair, Representative Kim Brimer at
7:25 pm.
The roll was answered as follows:
Present: Representatives Brimer; Rhodes; Corte; Elkins;
Woolley (5).
Absent: Representatives Dukes; Giddings; Janek; Solomons
(4).
A quorum was present.
By order of the chair, with no objections, the House Committee
on Business and Industry on May 14, 1997, authorized the
correction of the minutes for the formal meeting held May 9,
1997.

measure.
