         Pursuant to a notice posted on January 30, 1996, the House 
         Committee on County Affairs met in a public hearing and was 
         called to order by the Chair, Representative Ron Lewis at 8:05 
         am.
         
         The roll was answered as follows:  
         
         Present:  Representatives Lewis, Ron; Kamel; Bonnen; Chisum; 
                   Christian; Denny; Flores; Gutierrez; Lewis, Glenn (9).
         
         Absent:   None (0).
         
         A quorum was present.
         
         Chairman Ron Lewis addressed the committee members.
         
         At 8:30 am, on the motion of the chair and without objection, 
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
