         Pursuant to a notice posted on March 20, 1997, the House 
         Committee on Criminal Jurisprudence, Subcommittee on DWI met 
         in a formal meeting and was called to order by the Chair,  
         Representative Talton at 2:15 pm.
         
         The roll was answered as follows:  
         
         Present:  Representatives Talton; Farrar (2).
         
         Absent:   Representatives Hinojosa (1).
         
         HB 821
         
         The chair laid out HB 821.  
         
         Representative Talton laid out a complete committee 
         substitute. The committee substitute was adopted without 
         objection.  Representative Farrar moved that HB 821, as 
         substituted, be reported favorably to the full committee with 
         the recommendation that it do pass.  The motion prevailed by 
         the following vote:  
         
         Ayes:          Representatives  Talton;  Farrar  (1).
         
         Nays:          None (0).
         
         Present not Voting:      None (0).
         
         Absent:        Representative Hinojosa (1).
         
         At 2:35 pm, on the motion of the chair and without objection, 
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
