Pursuant to a notice posted on April 9, 1997, the House
Committee on Criminal Jurisprudence, Subcommittee on DWI met
in a formal meeting and was called to order by the Chair,
Representative Talton at 2:45 pm.
The roll was answered as follows:
Present: Representatives Talton; Farrar; Hinojosa (3).
Absent: None (0).
HB 133
The chair laid out HB 133 as pending business.
Representative Hinojosa moved that HB 133 be reported
favorably to the full committee with the recommendation that
it do pass. The motion prevailed by the following vote:
Ayes: Representatives Talton; Hinojosa (2).
Nays: Representative Farrar (1).
Present not Voting: None (0).
Absent: None (0).
HB 830
The chair laid out HB 830 as pending business.
Representative Farrar moved that HB 830 be reported favorably
to the full committee with the recommendation that it do pass.
The motion prevailed by the following vote:
Ayes: Representatives Talton; Farrar (2).
Nays: Representative Hinojosa (1).
Present not Voting: None (0).
Absent: None (0).
At 2:50 pm, on the motion of the chair and without objection,
the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
