         Pursuant to a notice posted on July 21, 1998, the House  
         Committee on Criminal Jurisprudence, Subcommittee on Indigent  
         Legal Services met in a public hearing and was called to order  
         by the Chair, Representative Farrar at 10:00 am. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:

         Absent:   Representatives Dunnam  (1).

         At 11:50 am, on the motion of the chair and without objection,
