         Pursuant to a notice posted on May 8, 1997 and revised on May  
         8, 1997 and May 13, 1997, the House Committee on Economic  
         Development met in a public hearing and was called to order by  
         the Acting Chair, Representative Ken Yarbrough  at 8:07 pm.
