         Pursuant to a notice posted on June 10, 1998, the House  
         Committee on Economic Development, Joint Subcommittee on  
         Welfare and Workforce Reform met in a public hearing and was  
         called to order by the Co-Chairs, Representative Rene Oliveira  
         and Representative Hilderbran at 9:46 am. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:

         A quorum was present.

         At 12:15 pm, on the motion of the co-chairs and without

         the co-chairs, Representative Oliveira and Representative  
         Hilderbran.
