            Pursuant to a notice posted on February 20, 1997, the House 
            Committee on Elections, Subcommittee on HB 332 met in a 
            public hearing and was called to order by the Chair, 
            Representative Madden at 2:04 pm.
            
            The roll was answered as follows:  
            
            Present:  Representatives Hodge; Madden; Place (3).
            
            Absent:   (0)

            The chair laid out HB 332.  
            
            Representative Madden offered an amendment to the measure.  
            
            Testimony was taken.  
            
            The amendment was adopted without objection.  
            
            The bill was reported favorably as amended to the full 
            committee without objection.
            
            At 2:25 pm, on the motion of Representative Hodge and 
            without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the
