         Pursuant to a notice posted on February 18, 1997, the House 
         Committee on Energy Resources met in a public hearing and was 
         called to order by the Chair, Representative Steve Holzheauser 
         at 11:07 am.
         
         The roll was answered as follows:  
         
         Present:  Representatives Holzheauser; Hawley; Davis; Merritt; 
                   Moffat (5).
         
         Absent:   Representatives Driver; Smithee; Torres; Wilson (4).
         
         A quorum was present.
         
         (Representative Torres now present.)  
         
         (Representative Driver now present.)  
         
         The Chair described his intentions for the conduct of Committee 
         business to the Committee and public.
         
         At 11:17 am, on the motion of the chair and without objection, 
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
