         Pursuant to a notice posted on March 19, 1997, the House 
         Committee on Judicial Affairs, Subcommittee on Juries met in a 
         public hearing and was called to order by the Subcommittee 
         Chair, Representative Jim Solis at 12:29 pm.
         
         The roll was answered as follows:

                   (4).
         
         Absent:   Representative Crabb (1).
         
         A quorum was present.
