Pursuant to a notice posted on February 27, 1997, the House
Committee on Juvenile Justice & Family Issues met in a public
hearing and was called to order by the Chair, Representative
Toby Goodman at 12:01 pm.
The roll was answered as follows:

At 12:02 pm, on the motion of the chair and without objection,
the meeting was recessed until 1:15 pm.
The committee reconvened at 1:30 pm and was called to order by
the chair, Representative Goodman. The roll was answered as
