         Organizational Meeting
         
         Pursuant to a notice posted on February 5, 1997, the House 
         Committee on Licensing & Administrative Procedures met in a 
         public hearing and was called to order by the Chair, 
         Representative Ron Wilson at 11:00 am.
         
         The roll was answered as follows:  
         
         Present:  Representatives Wilson; Kubiak; Hamric; Pickett; 
                   Torres; Yarbrough (6).
         
         Absent:   Representatives Goolsby; Haggerty; Jones, Delwin (3).
         
         A quorum was present.
         
         The chair introduced members of the Committee and staff.
         
         (Representative Goolsby now present.)  
         
         The chair recognized Harriet Myers, Board Chairman, Texas 
         Lottery Commission.
         
         (Representative Jones, Delwin now present.)  
         
         The chair recognized Sandy Crozier and Karen Cameron from 
         Mother's Against Drunk Drivers.
         
         At 11:20 am, on the motion of the chair and without objection, 
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
