House Committee on Land & Resource Management 
         75th Legislature

         Pursuant to a notice posted on February 2, 1998, the House  
         Committee on Land & Resource Management met in a public  
         hearing and was called to order by the Chair, Representative  
         Fred Bosse at 10:05 am. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:   
          
         Present:  Representatives Bosse; Turner, Bob; Crabb; Hamric;  
                   Howard; Jackson; Krusee; Mowery; Staples (9). 
          
         Absent:   None (0). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         Chairman Bosse gave opening remarks about the committee's  
         interim study charges and discussed future hearing dates. 
          
         Invited and public testimony was taken on all of the  
         committee's interim charges. 
          
         At 2:45 pm, on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
