House Committee on Land & Resource Management

         Pursuant to a notice posted on April 29, 1998, the House  
         Committee on Land & Resource Management met in a public  
         hearing and was called to order by the Chair, Representative  
         Fred Bosse at 1:10 pm. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:   
          
         Present:  Representatives Bosse; Turner, Bob; Crabb; Hamric;  
                   Howard; Jackson; Mowery; Staples (8). 
          
         Absent:   Representative Krusee (1). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         The Chair explained the committee's interim study charges.  
          
         Testimony was taken.  (See attached witness list.) 
          
         At 6:51 pm, on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
