         Pursuant to a notice posted on May 22, 1998, the House  
         Committee on Natural Resources Subcommittee on Groundwater  
         Permit Exemptions met in a public hearing and was called to  
         order by the Chair, Representative Gary Walker, at 9:10 a.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:

         Absent:   Representative Cook (1). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         Groundwater Permit Exemptions 
          
         The subcommittee considered testimony related to groundwater  
         permit exemptions and exceptions. 
          
         Testimony was taken. 
          
         At 11:10 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without  
         objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of  
         the chair.
