         Pursuant to a notice posted on March 18, 1997, the House 
         Committee on Pensions & Investments met in a public hearing 
         and was called to order by the Chair, Representative Barry 
         Telford at 8:15 am.

         Representative Woolley moved that HB 3134 be reported 
         favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do
