         Pursuant to a notice posted on April 14, 1998, the House  
         Committee on Pensions & Investments, Subcommittee on Long Term  
         Care met in a public hearing and was called to order by the  
         Acting Chair, Representative  Beverly Woolley at 9:12 am. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:   
          
         Present:  Representatives Woolley; Rangel (2). 
          
         Absent:   Representatives Capelo and Goolsby(2). 
          
         Although not a member of the subcommittee, Rep. Telford was  
         present. 
          
         Representative Capelo now present. 
          
         Testimony was taken. 
          
         At 10:30 am, on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
