         Pursuant to a notice posted on August 4, 1998, the House  
         Committee on State Recreational Resources, Subcommittee on  
         Boat Registration met in a public hearing and was called to  
         order by the Chair, Representative Jim Horn at 1:35 pm. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:

         A quorum was present.

         At 2:12 pm, on the motion of the chair and without objection,
