         Pursuant to a notice posted on January 12, 1998, the House  
         Committee on State Affairs, Subcommittee on Campaign Finance  
         met in a public hearing and was called to order by the Chair,  
         Representative Steven Wolens at 10:12 am. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:

         Testimony was taken.
