Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 1,
1997, the House Committee on Urban Affairs met in a formal
meeting and was called to order by the Chair, Representative
Fred Hill at 12:13 pm.
The roll was answered as follows:

Absent: Representatives Shields; Wohlgemuth (2).
A quorum was present.

The chair laid out SB 1810.
Representative Ehrhardt moved that SB 1810 be reported
favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do
pass and be printed. Representative Hodges seconded the
motion. The motion prevailed by the following vote:

Ehrhardt; Garcia; Hodge (7).
Nays: None (0).
Present not Voting: None (0).
Absent: Representatives Shields; Wohlgemuth (2).

Representative Shields moved that SB 657 be reported favorably
to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and
be printed. Representative Bailey seconded the motion. The
motion prevailed by the following vote:
