Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 7,
1997, the House Committee on Urban Affairs met in a formal
meeting and was called to order by the Chair, Representative
Fred Hill at 12:54 pm.

The chair laid out HB 2750 as pending business.
Representative Ehrhardt offered an amendment to the measure.
The amendment was adopted without objection.
Representative Garcia moved that HB 2750 be reported favorably
to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and
be printed and be sent to the Committee on Local and Consent
Calendars. Representative Burnam seconded the motion. The
motion prevailed by the following vote:
Ayes: Representatives Hill; Bailey; Burnam; Clark;
Ehrhardt; Garcia; Hodge; Shields; Wohlgemuth
(9).

The chair laid out SB 951.
Representative Ehrhardt moved that SB 951 be reported

pass and be printed. Representative Garcia seconded the
motion. The motion prevailed by the following vote:
