         Pursuant to a notice posted on March 3, 1998, the House  
         Committee on Urban Affairs met in a public hearing and was  
         called to order by the Chair, Representative Fred Hill at  
         10:20 am. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:   
          
         Present:  Representatives Hill; Burnam; Clark; Ehrhardt;  
                   Wohlgemuth (5). 
          
         Absent:   Representatives Bailey; Garcia; Hodge; Shields (4). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         Representative Fred Hill made opening remarks.

         At 1:40 pm, on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
