Senator Harris informed the committee that SB 1950 had been pulled by the Senate sponsor. The Chair laid out HB 2883 and recognized Senator Armbrister in the absence of Senator Gonzalo Barrientos, the Senate sponsor, to explain the bill. Senator Armbrister moved that HB 2883 be reported favorably to the full Senate with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion failed by a vote of 3 ayes, 3 nays, 0 present not voting, and 1 absent. The Chair laid out HCR 14 and recognized the Senate sponsor, Senator Jane Nelson, to explain the bill. There being no further business, at 8:29 am Senator Harris moved that the Committee stand recessed subject to the call of the Chair.
