There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted. The following members arrived after the meeting was convened: Senators Cain, Gallegos, Jr., Madla, Ogden, and Shapiro The Chair laid out SB 704 and recognized the author, Senator Lindsay, to explain the bill. Upon making appropriate corrections, Senator Lindsay moved adoption of Committee Amendment 1. Without objection, it was so ordered. The Chair closed public testimony on SB 704, SB 934, SB 955, SB 956, SB 1166, SB 1397, SB 1398, SB 1399 and SB 1602. Senator Lucio, Jr. moved that SB 704, SB 934, SB 955, SB 956, SB 1166, SB 1397, SB 1398, SB 1399 and SB 1602 be left pending; without objection, it was so ordered. There being no further business, at 10:59 am Senator Galloway moved that the Committee stand recessed subject to the call of the Chair.
