         Pursuant to a notice posted in accordance with Senate Rule  
         11.11, a public hearing of the Senate Interim Committee on  
         Annexation was held on Wednesday, February 11, 1998 in San  
         Antonio Central Library, at Austin, Texas.

         The Chair called the meeting to order at 9:35 am.  There being  
         a quorum present, the following business was transacted.   
          
         The following member arrived after the roll was called:  None. 
          
         Witnesses testifying and registering are shown on the attached  
         list. 
          
         There being no further business, at 3:40 pm Senator Madla  
         moved that the Committee be adjourned. Without objection, it  
         was so ordered.
