Justice to enter into contracts for inmate labor that provide
inmates with access to personal information about persons who are

Relating to the consolidation of the fiscal and program audit
functions of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.
HB 1693 Hinojosa
Relating to authorizing the state jail division of the Texas
Department of Criminal Justice to house county jail inmates in a
state jail felony facility.
HB 2136 Dutton
Relating to requiring the consent of local governments to place a
correctional or rehabilitation facility in certain areas.
HB 2324 Allen
Relating to the organization and operation of prison industries,
agricultural programs, and work programs of the Texas Department of
Criminal Justice; providing a penalty.
HB 2326 Allen
Relating to the creation of the victim services division of the
Texas Department of Criminal Justice and the assignment of certain
powers and duties to that division.
HB 2825 Place
Relating to the use of inmate and probationer labor for state
highway system projects.

Encouraging the Texas Board of Criminal Justice, Texas Youth Commission,
Juvenile Probation Commission, county commissioners, and sheriffs to
support faith-based correctional programming and facilities.

Relating to creating an offense for possession of certain
information by an inmate of the institutional division or the state
jail division of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.
