The committee will meet to discuss its interim charge to study the
cumulative effects of siting numerous confined animal feeding
operations (CAFOs) in a geographical area involving multiple state
jurisdictions, and to determine whether environmental protections
are adequate in such situations. The committee will also tour several
facilities related to CAFOs.

Perryton High School Auditorium, 1102 South Jefferson St.
Tour Texas Farm Facilities at the following locations:
From HWY 83 and HWY 15 Intersection, Northeast on HWY 15 for 4 miles
and East on Co. Rd. F, 4 miles to corner of Texas Farm
Commercial Sow Facility. After viewing, turn South on Co. Rd. 24 for
8 miles to Texas Farm Commercial Nursery/Finisher facility.
Tour Wolfcreek Feeders at the following location:
South on HWY 83/70, then South on 83. At "Y" Intersection to HWY
2711, East on HWY 2711 for 5.5 miles.
Lunch at the Perryton Expo at the following location:
Ochiltree County Exposition Building, Ochiltree County Fairgrounds
North of the Intersection of HWY 15 and Jefferson St., Perryton
Tour Dean Paul #2 Farm at the following location:
West on HWY 15 to first road entering Waka, Texas (Co. Rd. 3).
Road may be unmarked. South 4.5 miles, site is on East side of road.
Tour Texas Farm Feed Mill at the following location:
2 1/2 miles East of Farnsworth, Texas on HWY 15
3:00 p.m. Public Hearing at the following location:
