The subcommittee will hold a public hearing to consider the Interim
Charge from Speaker Laney to, "Review materials of publicly funded
environmental educational programs and assess whether the materials and
the programs promote views based on scientifically sound information."

Subcommittee members are:

     Rep. Mike Jackson
     Rep. John Hirschi
     Rep. Robert Puente
     Rep. Robert Talton
     Rep. Warren Chisum, ex officio

Persons wishing to testify should arrive at the meeting early, complete
a witness affirmation form, and turn the form into the clerk.  Those
who wish to provide written documentaion should be prepared to
provide eight copies to the clerk at the beginning of their
testimony.  NOTE: written documentation is accepted as a courtesy, and
is not considered an official part of the record.

Directions to Sugar Land City Hall from Houston Hobby Airport:
  Exit the airport to I 45.
  Get on I 45 North, toward downtown.
  Exit South onto SW Freeway (aka US 59).
  Go approximately 20 miles.
  Take the Sugar Land exit (aka Dairy Ashford or Spur 41).
  Turn north (right) onto Dairy Ashford.
  Cross the major intersection and railroad tracks at US 90.
  After US 90, take the first left which is Julie Rivers Drive.
  Sugar Land City Hall is approximately 1/2 mile down Julie Rivers
     Drive on the northeast corner of the intersection of Julie Rivers
     Drive and Corporate Drive.
