The subcommittee will hold a public hearing to consider the interim
charge from Speaker Laney to, "Review current funding mechanisms for
Local Emergency Planning Committees (LEPCs), which are required by
federal law to respond to chemical emergencies.  Determine if there
are alternative funding methods that would improve the ability of
the LEPCs to perform their duties."

   Rep. Robert Puente
   Rep. Robert Talton
   Rep. Dawnna Dukes

Persons wishing to testify should arrive early, complete a witness
affirmation form, and turn the form into the clerk,  Those who wish
to provide written documentation should be prepared to provide eight
copies to the clerk at the beginning of their testimony.  NOTE: written
documentation is accepted as a courtesy, and is not considered an
official part of the record.
