The committee will meet to take testimony on the interim charges.

The charges include:
1. Assess the preparedness of city governments, especially small and
mid-size cities, to deal with the Year 2000 computer problems.
2. Determine the effects of the 75th Legislature's failure to pass
legislation validating the acts of city governments.
3. Continue the Committee's review of housing issues and programs.
4. Conduct active oversight of agencies under the committee's
jurisdiction.
