      Amend CSHB 1 as follows:
      (1) On page II-60 of the bill, in Article II, under the
appropriations to the Department of Mental Health and Mental
Retardation, strike the sums appropriated for A.1.3.  Treatment,
and substitute for that strategy the sum of $121,127,594 for the
year ending August 31, 2000, and the sum of $121,127,595 for the
year ending August 31, 2001.
      (2) On page II-60 of the bill, in Article II, under the
appropriations to the Department of Mental Health and Mental
Retardation, strike the sums appropriated for A.1.4. Community
Hospitals, and substitute for that strategy the sum of $41,023,257
for the year ending August 31, 2000, and the sum of $41,023,257 for
the year ending August 31, 2001.
