Amend the Fred Brown amendment to CSHB 1 to read as follows:
      Amend Article III of CSHB 1 as follows:
      On page III-197, regarding Special Provisions for
Institutions of Higher Education add the following appropriately
numbered provision:
            _____. Funding for Physical Education Courses.
                  a..No funds appropriated under this act shall be
used for contact hours or semester credit hours for students who
are registered solely for physical education, weight lifting, group
exercises, aerobics or related courses and are not seeking a degree
or certificate of completion of a course of study.
