      Amend CSHB 1 on page XI-70 of the bill in Article XI by
adding the following rider to the appropriation for the Texas Parks
and Wildlife Department.
Contingency Appropriation for HB 687.  Contingent upon the
enactment of HB 687, or similar legislation relating to the
application of the fishing license requirement to a person who is
at least 65 years of age, by the 76th Legislature, Regular Session,
Parks and Wildlife Department is hereby appropriated $189,521 for
fiscal year 2000 and $222,873 for fiscal year 2001 in general
revenue from unclaimed refunds of motorboat fuel taxes, for purpose
of providing public fishing opportunities and law enforcement
activities.
