      Amend CSHB 1 on page II-41 of the bill, in Article II by
adding the following appropriately numbered rider to after the
appropriations to the Department of Health:
      _____. Hospital Reimbursements.  Out of funds appropriated
above, the Department of Health shall reimburse hospitals of a
similar or same category within the same Metropolitan Service Area
equally for providing the same inpatient health services on behalf
of Medicaid recipients.
