Amend HB 269 as follows:
      (1)  On page 1, line 8, strike "compensation" and substitute
"salary".
      (2)  On page 1, strike lines 11-17 and substitute the
following:
      (b)  For each regularly scheduled workday on which a
non-salaried employee serves in any phase of jury service, a school
district shall pay the employee the employee's normal daily
compensation.
