Amend the Merrit amendment to CSHB 938 as follows:
      (1) In proposed new Sec. 140.002 of the amendment, insert
"status as a pregnant person," between "ancestry," and "or".
      (2) Add the following language to the amendment:
      "Amend CSHB 938 on page 2, line 17, by inserting "status as a
pregnant person," between "ancestry," and "or".
