Amend CSHB 1171 as follows:
      (1)  In SECTION 5 of the bill, in amended Section 401.202,
Health and Safety Code (Senate Committee Printing, page 3, line
31), between "AUTHORITY." and "The", insert "(a)".
      (2)  In SECTION 5 of the bill, in amended Section 401.202,
Health and Safety Code (Senate Committee Printing, page 3, between
lines 35 and 36), insert a new Subsection (b) of Section 401.202,
Health and Safety Code, to read as follows:
      (b)  The commission or department, within its respective
jurisdiction, may issue a license for the processing, assured
isolation, or disposal of low-level radioactive wastes received
from the United States Department of Energy or under the Texas
Low-Level Radioactive Waste Disposal Compact, only at a site
located in Andrews County.
