Amend HB 1504 as follows:
      (1) On page 1, line 15, between the period and "The", insert
"The consortium is directed by the Texas Tech University Health
Sciences Center.".
      (2) On page 3, lines 15-16, strike "establishing and
maintaining the consortium and data coordinating center" and
substitute "supporting the research activities of the consortium".
