Amend HB 1869 as follows:
      (1)  On page 1, line 8, immediately preceding "Territory",
insert "(a)".
      (2)  On page 2, between lines 1 and 2, insert the following:
      (b)  A junior college district may not annex territory under
this section if:
            (1)  the territory is located in the same county as any
part of the junior college district; and
            (2)  a campus of the Texas State Technical College
System is located within the county and outside the junior college
district.
