Amend HB 3125 by adding the following appropriately numbered
sections and renumbering the sections of the bill as appropriate:
      SECTION     .  Subchapter D, Chapter 502, Transportation
Code, is amended by adding Section 502.1805 to read as follows:
      Sec. 502.1805. DISPLAY OF LICENSE PLATES ON STATE VEHICLES. a
motor vehicle owned by the state may display only one license plate
that is attached at the rear of the vehicle.
      SECTION     . Section 502.404(d), Transportation Code, is
amended to read as follows:
      (d)  Subsections (a) and (b) do not apply to a dealer
operating a vehicle as provided by law or a vehicle owned by the
state.
