Amend CSSB 370 as follows:
      (1)  In SECTION 9 of the bill, strike added Section
411.023(f), Government Code (page 16, lines 21-23, house committee
printing), and substitute the following:
      (f)  The commission shall authorize a badge for persons
appointed as special rangers under this section that is distinct in
appearance from the badge authorized for special Texas Rangers
under Section 411.024 and from any badge issued to a Texas Ranger.
      (2)  In SECTION 10 of the bill, strike Section 411.024(f),
Government Code, as added by the bill (page 17, lines 25-27, house
committee printing), and insert the following:
      (f)  The commission shall authorize a badge for persons
appointed as special Texas Rangers under this section that is
distinct in appearance from the badge authorized for special
rangers under Section 411.023 and from any badge issued to a Texas
Ranger.
