Amend CSSB 370 by adding the following appropriately numbered
Section of the bill and renumbering Sections appropriately:
      SECTION     . Section 543.006, Transportation Code, is
amended by adding Subsection (c) to read as follows:
      (c)  Notwithstanding any other law, for cases under this
subtitle assigned to a justice court, in a precinct with more than
one justice court, an officer of the Department of Public Safety
issuing a notice to appear for an offense under this subtitle shall
assign the cases among the justice courts of the precinct so that,
to the extent possible, each justice court in the precinct is
assigned the same number of cases.
