Amend CSSB 370 as follows:
      (1)  In SECTION 6 of the bill, in amended Section 411.007(f),
Government Code, strike the following (page 9, lines 9-11, house
committee printing):  If the commission affirms a discharge, the
discharged officer or employee may seek judicial review in a
district court under the substantial evidence standard of review.
      (2)  In SECTION 34 of the bill, strike Subsection (f) (page
37, lines 8-16, house committee printing) and reletter the
subsequent subsections of that SECTION appropriately.
