Amend the Turner amendment to CSSB 560 (page 4 of the packet)
by adding a new item to the amendment to read as follows:
      ( )  In Section 55.013, Utilities Code, as added by SECTION
17 of the bill (House Committee Report), page 23, between lines 1
and 2), insert a new Subsection (e) to read as follows:
      (e)  A provider of basic local exchange telecommunications
service shall comply with the requirements of this section not
later than March 1, 2000.
