Amend CSSB 779 as follows;
      (1)  Strike SECTION 1 of the bill (Committee Printing page 1,
lines 13-45) and renumber the subsequent SECTIONS accordingly.
      (2)  In SECTION 2 of the bill (Committee Printing page 1,
lines 51-57), strike the last sentence of amended Section 31.06(a),
Tax Code, and substitute the following:
A collector and a person may enter into an agreement under which
the person pays taxes by electronic funds transfer.  The agreement
must:
            (1)  be in writing;
            (2)  be signed by the collector and the person; and
            (3)  specify the means or format of payment by
electronic funds transfer.
