Amend SB 940 (Senate engrossment) in Section 2 of the bill,
as follows:
      (1)  Immediately following the last sentence of the section
(page 1, line 12), add the following:
      Beginning with that semester, an increase in the fee imposed
under Section 54.511, Education Code, takes effect only if the fee
increase is approved by a vote of the students as required by
Section 54.511(b), as amended by this Act.
